# This is Oscar. Arrived in Ireland from war-torn Ukraine, aged two months. He had a viral infection upon arrival, but is now in good health, after a few visits to the vet. He’s very energetic, playful and friendly. Now aged 4 months and happy in the tranquil surroundings of his new home. One tough little guy, survived the Russian bombardment of Kyiv and then travelled 2000 miles to safety.

Sent to us by Conor Ryan.

# This is our good friend, Bob. Bob isn’t our cat. He was one of the cats dumped on the property where we lived in Oregon. We did feed him, get him neutered & gain his trust, but several of our 11 cats didn’t accept him and often ran him off. Eventually, he adopted our close neighbors, who had already taken in 2 other abandoned cats. Bob still lives in Oregon with that family, and we get updates on him from time to time. I always enjoyed my interactions with Bob, and the opportunities to photograph him. He is a very special boy.

Sent to us by Russ Colwell.
