These Telekinetic Cats Mastered The Art Of Levitation
They say cats always land on their feet. But why are they so good at falling with style? Perhaps it has something to do with the amount of time they seem to spend in the air. Indeed, these magical moggies float so wondrously above the ground that we’re left with little doubt that they have a much more powerful command of the art of levitation than any human has ever managed.
In order to achieve full control over its mortal body, a cat must become one with the mystical forces that guide it through its nine lives.
This four-legged friend, for instance, is clearly concentrating very deeply on keeping itself afloat. Or perhaps it’s just giving the photographer a dirty look. Or maybe both…

This cat’s owner looks like realization has just slapped her in the face. You can almost see the awe at her cat’s mystical powers appearing in her eyes, as she gasps, “This isn’t supposed to be happening.” Her life will never be the same again.

Gravity, be gone! This furry feline evidently has total mastery over the laws of physics that bind mere humans to the ground. And it’s not afraid to establish its dominance with constant eye contact. I, for one, welcome our new feline overlords.

These transcendental kitties have clearly started learning to levitate from a very young age, so it’s no wonder they look surprised at their newfound abilities. From the angle of this photo, they also look like they’re about to come plummeting back to earth, so it’s a good thing that cats always land on their feet.

While we can make educated guesses, nobody really knows why cats choose to levitate. Sure, some might do it to catch prey or to emphasize their obvious superiority. But with others, there’s no real telling what’s going on inside those kitty brains of theirs. Maybe this ginger fellow just wants to scale his climbing frame in the corner?

Not all cats are even aware that they have the power of levitation. Indeed, some are often completely startled when they manage to do it – like this furry creature, whose priceless expression suggest he’s terrified of his current elevation.

This furry beast has had to use all its strength in order to lift itself off the ground. Some cats, regardless of shape or size, can still move beyond the single plane of gravity that binds other lifeforms to the soil. They just need to concentrate really, really hard.

Meanwhile, other cats don’t realize they have the power to levitate until it happens by accident. This cute kitten, for instance, has just discovered its own potential after jumping at a mysterious object on the ground.

Those poor humans. They’ll never know the truth about their feline masters. If only they’d had the instinct to look behind them! Alas, this cat will be able to continue flying through the air in secrecy – for now, anyway.

The art of levitation doesn’t come easy to every cat, of course. Plenty can only watch and learn from those who have already accomplished it, hoping that one day, they too will be able to harness the power of flight – all the better for catching birds and, erm, coughing up furballs.

For some cats, levitation is simply a means to an end. And, often, that end is their next meal. The butterfly probably thinks it has an advantage over its predator, but evolution is about to catch up with it – for this cat can levitate. Nice try, butterfly.

And, of course, not all cats are even capable of flying. Some are merely left to look on in envy at their feline friends, soaring heroically above them. Clearly, they need to practice a little harder at tapping into their mystical sides.

Of course, some cats just like using their supernatural powers to have a little fun – like this kitty, who’s clearly having the time of his life in the snow. It doesn’t quite look like he’s flying high enough to catch that snowball, but we’re sure he’ll get there one day.

While many cats flail around in the air, there are a handful who have such a handle on levitation that they can retain their regal posture, even while floating. These animals are revered by their fellow felines, who can only gaze on in awe.

While we as mere people can never truly understand what it’s like to be a cat, we’re pretty sure it’s easier than being a human. Free food, plenty of sleep, zero responsibilities and the ability to levitate. What’s not to like?
