# So. I come home from work two weeks ago and hear tiny chirping in the garage. I think birds have made a nest because of the broken window. I go in and follow the sound to a box on the floor. Three newborns with the cord still attached. It’s still below freezing at night in this altitude, not to mention raccoons, so I try and pick up the box and in jumps mom. She had been hanging around the garage since December.
