Good morning ☀️ Today is the day I get a new brother. I am going to sniff him and probably growl, but then I will play with him because mom says he is nice. Going to happen this afternoon. Mom will show pictures. He is 1 and my mom’s cousin’s daughter found him around Thanksgiving outside. They brought him to the vet and had him checked for a chip.
No one claimed him so they had him fixed and vaccinated, but live where they can’t have cats and they didn’t want to see him in the shelter so she asked if mom would want him, and she said YES 🤗♥️🐾. Peanut 🥜

I am filled with gratitude today! Four years ago I lost my precious Dudley to heart disease at the young age of 11. In December, during a routine annual vet visit, a slight heart murmur was detected in my gorgeous Clarence. Today was the cardiologist appointment and I was petrified. Turns out he has a simple leaky valve that is very common and does not cause damage, but does create a slight murmur. I cannot tell you the relief I feel!
I have posted before about Clarence: I have had cats my whole life but there is something really special about this guy! I am just so happy he is OK!
