# This gorgeous tortie was pretty well camouflaged among the grasses in her front yard. Her eyes were a stunning amber color. When I decided to slowly approach and introduce myself, she took a step back. To me, that meant, “Too close, human…please stay back.” which was fine with me, so I stayed back and admired her from a distance.
