# Mom and boys. She came out of the forest when we first moved to the island. Very timid, took her forever to come close to any of us. Then over time she learned to accept us, even sleep at the open verandah. She stood by as we remodelled the house, slept out on the open, never wanted to come inside but never left us either, despite workers running around, us taking down the verandah roof, rain, wind, she was just there.
And then one day, she called on me, and led me to a wood storage we have under the house, and showed me these two boys, still tiny babies… Imagine my surprise.
Then some months passed and boys as they would, got used to the comfy house life, and she kind of followed suit, so now they all have a warm bed by the fireplace where they chill at nights.

She is malnourished and has something wrong with her front leg. I am determined to get her back into good health. Happy new year everyone!
