1. Xena, the day I got her. She wasn’t sure of her new home, so she hung out on her cat tree. I’ve had her a month and now she loves being here.

2. Took 2 days before he came out of the carrier, then hid for 2 more days before he felt safe. Now he rules.

3. This is Boko the day he was found! In October of 2020 a maintenance crew was working at my college house and found him hiding behind the AC unit (in the rain). He was barely a pound and shaking because it was so cold. I took him in and he’s been with me ever since! He’s almost 3 years old and a very healthy 10 pounds now.

4. Got Leo at 6 weeks old. Way too young to be away from his mum, but if I hadn’t taken the boy god knows what would have happened to him. 5yrs down the line he rules the house!

5. This is Jack. We went into the shelter looking for another cat we saw online, only to learn that cat had been adopted. The volunteer handed me this guy and said he was sad because his sister had been adopted the day before. He wouldn’t leave my arms and purred the whole time, and I instantly fell in love. I literally had to fill out the adoption papers holding him because he didn’t want me to put him down. I call him my “soul cat” because he literally won’t leave my side, especially when I’m sad or sick. He knows how to cheer me up or at the very least comfort me. I can’t imagine my life without him and am so happy that worker put him in my arms like she did.

7. This is Archie we brought him home on the 5th of November in 2020. He’s loud, affectionate, and an absolute menace but we love him.

8. Our precious Aria was 2 when we got her from the shelter 7 years ago. Poor Aria and her sister had been badly treated and sadly her little sister was very sick and didn’t survive. It took Aria a long time to trust humans again but she’s become an adorable loving and very cheeky girl. Our family was complete when Aria entered our lives.

9. I found my sweet girl on the side of the road. Her litter mates and mama cat were nowhere in sight. When I took her to the vet she had a dislocated hip where she struggled to walk, run and jump. She is now 6 years and doing great.

10. This is Oreo. Found her at a job I worked at as a stray and just couldn’t leave her there alone. This is the car ride home.

11. This is baby Hobbes at about 4 weeks. He was found on a boat with two siblings & the mother had deserted them. I fostered them until they were old enough to be neutered & adopted. He was my first foster fail.

12. My oreo I found on kijji. 8 weeks old and picked him up from a farm that had many animals.
He jumped out of the box lol and climbed on my shoulder whilst I was driving… that’s when our bond began. He hid in the bathroom when he first came home but I picked him up and showed him around whilst I was talking to him. He then began to play.
He’s a loving sweet boy and so very blessed.

18. This little baby came running up to me on my 2nd day at my first job out of college. She had an injury on her ear and was very scared. She jumped right into my hands. I searched for the mother and other kittens and couldn’t find them so I called my husband to help take her to a shelter. And when I got home from work my husband had fallen in love with her and wanted to keep her. We named her Lilly. She was the absolute best cat I’ve ever had!! She slept in my arms like a teddy bear every night. She’d come running to the door to greet me when I got home from work. She was always tiny and had lots of health problems but we loved her so much!
She passed away from cancer 3 years ago at Christmas… I still miss her.

19. Little Penni hiding in the sauna, 12 years ago when we adopted her. Her mother was found abandoned, pregnant and malnourished (we soon found out Penni has problems with her knees because of this). That doesn’t seem to slow her down, though. Now instead of jumping, she pulls herself up the scratching post to climb the cat tree. Love her so much!
