# Five years ago Lilly was shot with an airgun, so her hind quarters were paralysed:
It would be a lie to say it has been easy, the 2-3 months rehab the vet expected turned out to be underestimated. But Lilly has shown more progress on the treadmill in the last 18 months than any previous rehab, so things are improving. Lilly must have a good quality of life, she has just come in after being out in the garden all morning. Do think she disappears to avoid having urine expressed, but since she lost nerve function to the bladder, she only pees when we make her, so needs to be done twice a day. But thanks to hydrotherapy she is now continent as long as we follow that routine. As the photo shows Lilly has gone to bed. Think she is happy with life.

# We are so in love with our little rescue! Alex came to us at 3 weeks old with a respiratory infection and eye infection. He couldn’t see or breathe. A little medicine and a lot of love have him looking like a champ!
